London Legal Walk 2019

Date: Monday, 17 June 2019
Time: Registration from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Location: Carey Street, Holborn, London

The next Branch event will be the London Legal Walk 2019, which will be held on Monday, 17 June 2019. This is a fantastic yearly event when approximately 12,000 lawyers, judges, advocates, students, clerks and other legal professionals come together to walk 10 km around London in aid of the London Legal Support Trust. This trust is an independent charity that raises funds for free legal advice services in London and the South East.

Last year our team had nine walkers, and we had such a great time as evidenced by the photo below! Please let us know by no later than Wednesday, 12 June 2019 if you would like to join our CILEx London team, to ensure we have sufficient t-shirts available.

Last year we managed to raise an amazing £150, and I hope this year we can at least match it. The link to our donation page is here: If you are unable to walk with us, but would like to donate, we would be very grateful.

Past Events

Flight Club

We thought it would be interesting to do something different for our next event, and following some great feedback received from our members, we decided our next event would be at Flight Club. Nothing to do with fighting Brad Pitt or getting in a plane - it's actually darts!

We hired an oche and had a couple of rounds of darts, plus some food and drinks. A great way to wind down after a long day!

London Legal Walk

We want to say a huge thank you to all of those that either attended the London Legal Walk with us or supported the Branch by way of sponsorship or messages of support. The Branch raised almost £130, which was fantastic, and we all had a wonderful evening despite the heat and the 10km walk. It was great to see so many other lawyers at the event for such a worthy cause.
